This year, Macedonia through the activities of the Macedonian Opera and Ballet is part of the European initiative European opera days.
… The cultural heritage is part of everything and resonates in everything we do … inspired by this year’s issue, for this edition of EDC, MOB, more precisely the Documentation and Historical Archives Department, prepared a retrospective exhibition titled “#retrOpera”, which the public will have the opportunity to see in the period from 9 – 31 May at the MOB’s lobby.
MOB, unselfishly and with great pleasure with you, will share it’s heritage, created with the help of many national and international artists who performed at the international festival “May Opera Evenings” since 1972. Our and yours, archive lumber from original photographs, bills, press clips, posters, sketches … etc.
The idea is all for the public to be able to see, know, remember, the history of their favorite and unique home of opera and ballet, the evolution of the idea through the years and the role played by it and the theater in the community.
We invite you to take part this year and share #EuropeforCulture and #retrOpera.
The exhibition is part of the program at the International May Opera Evenings Festival 2018 #WeCelebratePuccini.
