“Aladdin and the Magic Lamp” December 28, 2025 / 7:30 PM
The project “Aladdin and the Magic Lamp,” produced by KREO-AXIS – Association of Citizens for Inclusive and Non-Formal Education, Skopje, is an inspiring example of how young people learn, create, and grow through art.
It features more than fifty young performers from the “Broadway Junior” ensemble, who, together with professionals from the fields of music, theater, stage design, and costume design, have created a stage and musical production based on the story of Aladdin from The Thousand and One Nights.
The collaboration with the National Opera and Ballet reaffirms the importance of institutional–civil partnership as a model for developing new cultural values and promoting young artists.

The complete adaptation of the performances has been realized in collaboration with the stage departments of the National Opera and Ballet.
Performance: Ensemble “Broadway Junior”
The production features over fifty young performers from “Broadway Junior” a music-theater ensemble for children and youth, established within the projects of KREO-AXIS. Their energy, discipline, and creativity form the heart of this production, transforming the stage into a space for learning, joy, and inspiration.
The project carries both an educational and cultural mission. To this end, teams for choreography, set design, costume design, and multimedia were formed, involving young designers, students, and pupils. This approach provided the youth with an opportunity for creative and process-driven expression.
