The exhibition of paintings by Zoran Kostovski is set in the lobby of the National Opera and Ballet, which is open for visitors from 28.5 to 12.6.2021.
This exhibition marks the 50th anniversary of Zoran Kostovski, 50 years of creative activity in the painting art, who is also a member of the Association of Fine Artists in the Republic of North Macedonia for 45 years.
He was born in Skopje in 1952 and graduated from the academy “St. Kliment Ohridski ”- painting department in 1974. He also made a study visit to Paris, France in 1986. He has won several awards, including the “Mosha Piade” Award for Young Painters in 1986, and in 1989 the American Cultural Center purchased one of his paintings, and it is located at the White House in Washington, dedicated to then-President George W. Bush.
Until his retirement, Zoran Kostoski was part of the National Opera and Ballet team as a painter, and also appears as a set designer for numerous opera and ballet performances.
He has numerous solo exhibitions, the most important of them are the exhibitions in Skopje, Bitola, Ohrid, Osijek, Zagreb, Nova Gorica, Cologne and Erstad – Germany.
