Synopsis
The story of the opera takes place in Seville. Rozina is a young girl who is in love with Count Almaviva. The young and handsome Count sings daily under Rosina’s window in order to approach her. But Rosina is guarded by the old doctor Bartolo, who wants to marry her and refuses to let her out of the house. Figaro, Bartolo’s personal barber, helps Rosina and Almaviva to get to know each other, presenting Almaviva as a singing teacher. As Figaro shaves Bartolo, Rosina and Almaviva are making plans about their future.
To achieve their mutual love, Rosina and Almaviva are assisted by Figaro, who brings them minister and witnesses. At that moment the wedding takes place and old Bartola must accept the victory lead by the youth and their love.
